Reception - Red Class: Laburnum Boat Club

Our topic this term is TRANSPORT. We really enjoyed the story Mr Gumpy’s Outing. We enjoyed the story so much that our teachers organised a trip to Laburnum Boat Club. We explored the grounds observing the canal and sitting in the kayaks to practise rowing. WE EVEN HAD A CHANCE TO STEP ONTO ONE OF THE LABURNUM BOATS. Did you know that some people can live on boats? GREAT FUN!
