Excellent effort from students in Year 4 this half term who have had the opportunity to learn about a range of famous Spanish-speaking painters – including Pablo Picasso, Frida Khalo, Wilfredo Lam, Joaquín Sorolla and Salvador Dalí; and different art styles/movements. Students can now use a range of seaside related words and the grammar structure ‘hay/no hay’ to describe one of Sorolla’s paintings, as well as being able to give and justify their opinions on impressionism, realisms and cubism.
