Year 6 - 6S Meditation

6S have started meditating every day for the last couple of weeks and we have thoroughly enjoyed it. We usually meditate after assembly, before our afternoon lessons start and this gives us a chance to focus, keep calm and balance our behaviour. Sebright wants all children to be happy and healthy learners, not just for now but for the rest of their lives.

“I can imagine my own space and this helps with me focus on what I need to do.” - Maimunah

“Year 6 can be hectic and full on, so this just gives us a bit of space and time to regain our focus.” - Zoynal

Elijah 6S - Sometime I actually feel like a lotus flower floating on a peaceful river

Gradie 6S - I love meditation as it gives me time to just pause life and be calm.πŸ˜‡πŸ˜Œ

Zoynal 6S - Mindfulness is really good!!!!!! I think other classes should try it tooπŸ’†
