Last week, a group of Year 7 students from Waterside Academy visited Year 5 classes for a special transition session. The focus was on School Subjects, a brand-new topic for our curriculum and one packed with useful vocabulary for their future language learning. This was a wonderful opportunity to build bridges between KS2 and KS3 while developing students’ confidence and fostering connection within the community.
