Creative Arts - Art and Design Technology

Sebright believes that the creative experiences we provide for children have a positive impact on their overall development. Our creative opportunities help facilitate their writing, mathematical thinking, critical thinking, investigative skills and cognitive skills, as well as develop their imagination, confidence and pride. The Arts is fundamental to our learning ethos and is taught through our creative approach to the curriculum, which links all areas of learning.

We further embed our passion and love of art by fully immersing the children with murals and work from local artists, framed artwork, mini canvases, installations, imaginative book corners, galleries and frequent opportunities for art in our topic floorbooks.

If you would like to know more about this area of the curriculum, please talk to Anisha Miah, Creative Lead.
