As part of National Poetry Day we having been exploring the poem ‘The Terrible Ten’. This poem has given us the opportunity to deepen our understanding of numbers 1-10 and the value each digit holds. The children had to demonstrated attentive listening ad responded with a performance of each creature, all while exploring similarities and differences between them. They expressed emotions and ideas about how the poem made them feel.
