Reception love stories, every day, but we had a whole day full of books as we celebrated World Book Day. We shared our favourite stories, talked about our favourite characters and dressed up inspired by our wonderful imaginations! We partnered with Year 3 to share stories that we love and had a visit from the author Lanisha Butterfield, who wrote the beautiful story 'FlowerBlock'. We got to ask questions about how the best stories are written and we compared her modern tale to the traditional tale of Jack and the Beanstalk. What a fun day we had!
