New Speech & Language Research Project

Sebright is proud to be taking part in a new Speech and Language research project happening across the UK. The results will help to update the Renfrew Expressive Vocabulary Test (WFVT) - a standardised print assessment used to test the extent to which pictures of vocabulary, arranged in order of difficulty, can be named correctly.

Since its first publication, the assessment has become widely used in schools across the UK, and is often regarded as an integral part of a toolkit for Speech and Language Therapists working in schools. The input from children at Sebright, and children across the UK, will help with the expanding and updating of its words and images to ensure it reflects the vocabulary of children today.
