Sebright’s very own Premier League Reading Stars club visited the Emirates Stadium recently and had a fantastic time meeting two best selling authors and playing on Arsenal’s indoor football pitch. It was a brilliant afternoon at Arsenal FC with some of Sebright’s Year 5 and Year 6 children, who have been taking part in the reading focused Boys Book Club for a number of years now.

The children met two incredible authors on the visit. First,  was the hilariously funny Matt Brown, author of the Compton Valance book series about a boy who time travels thanks to a sandwich! Next, was Dan Freedman (previously the official England journalist for the FA) who writes a series of books about aspiring footballer Jamie Johnson. Watch out for Jamie Johnson featuring in a brand new CBBC TV series next month. Meeting these successful authors was inspiring and great fun!
