Year 3 students really enjoyed today's lesson where we learnt about the Canary Islands and its volcanoes. CLIL provides the opportunity to diversify methods of classroom teaching and learning. Students had the chance to use geographical vocabulary in both, Spanish and English in the lesson, to talk about the different parts of volcanoes and the components of the earth. Students explored the 2021 eruption of the volcano in La Palma and its impact.
