Last week, our Year 4 children were treated to a vibrant and energetic Latin music workshop, where they explored the rich musical traditions of Spain, Cuba, Mexico and Argentina.
Led by a talented visiting trio of musicians, they workshop was a tour of Latin rhythms and instruments. The children clapped along to the beats of Spanihs flamenco, swayed to the smooth sounds of Cuban salsa, tapped out rhythms inpired by Mexican mariachi, and even tried their hand at the Argentinian tango.
