We celebrated World Book Day this week in our Spanish lessons. Year 5 children explored the life of Miguel de Cervantes and one of his most famous novels Don Quixote. The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha, written by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, is a novel about a man with questionable sanity who goes on a series of quests to become a knight, accompanied by his 'squire', Sancho. Year 4 children had the opportunity to share ideas about the favourite book themes in Spanish, and explored the life of the famous comic character Mafalda.
